The Shanley Team - Don Shanley and Marena Boyton
As the Branch Manager for The Shanley Team in Indiana, Don Shanley is extremely proud to represent this fine company. Over the last 10 years Don has worked for several different Mortgage Companies. Not one of them had the ability to offer the service The Shanley Team delivers. This failure was either because they were simply a Mortgage Broker and did not have total control of the loan process, or they did not have the systems in place to even think of providing exceptional service to clients buying a home. Don's Mentor in the industry is Greg Frost.  Greg understands the loan process far better than most Executives in our industry do. The reason Greg knows more of what it takes than anyone else in the Mortgage industry is that Greg Frost was named as the First $1 Billion Dollar Originator for FHA Lending in the entire United States! Greg developed a system for communication that is light years ahead of anyone else in this industry.  This system is designed to keep the Clients and the Realtors totally aware of the progress of the loan. He continually reinforces to us that “Communication is the Lubrication in any well run Organization!”  Don has studied this system and recently attended a training in Greg's home city of Albuquerque to further learn the implementation of this system. 

Many originators work by themselves and when they are busy they give you to their voice mail. The difference with us is the fact that we are the Shanley “TEAM”. As our Team Loan Manager, Marena Boyton is the glue for this team. She is not only extremely skilled with the lending process, she also has over 10 years of experience in all the vital areas of the Home Buying and Home Refinancing Process. Marena was for many years a Realtor in Michigan and then became a loan Processor for Large Mortgage Lenders (Waterfield Mortgage and Greentree Lending).  She as well previously worked on our staff as a Loan Processor. Her experience allows her to know what is required for fully documenting any loan and thereby present the best case for the underwriters. Her skills and experience helps her to attain the proper documentation up front in the loan process and eliminate the unnecessary need for continual documentation requests that many other brokers and lender require. Marena and her husband Alan live in Fishers along with one awesome son Blake! 

Don lives in northern Indianapolis and is a single Dad that as a single dad raised the two youngest of his 3 children until he became an “Empty Nester”. Now he is a proud Grandpa of 3 incredible Grandkids.  He is an active member of Northview Christian Life Church in Carmel and loves to travel and coach a mens softball team.
